Are you sure you have the question right? There are ammendments passed AFTER the war, but none between US entry and the end of the war.
The two passed after are the 18th (prohibition) which outlawed the sale of liquor in the nation and the growth of speakeasies and organized crime to get bootleg alcohol. There's also the 19th which gave women the right to vote.

This is what I do. I make pictures of the things I try to remember. For Example: make a picture of a religious symbol for one.
A bear holding a gun for two, a house with soldiers in it with a big no over it,etc.
Also say what you are trying to remember out loud. If you say it, hear it, and read it it is creating more pathways in the brain.

A Constitutional Amendment is hardly needed to grant a simple right to a group of American citizens. The Civil Rights Act is not an amendment but LEGISLATION that was the groundbreaking end to discrimination of minorities in this country and there was not even an amendment for that. It is very simple- a law should be passed that allows every American citizen the same rights as every other American citizen. PERIOD.

Um, no. Strange, I find it to be the more liberal types that ignore the 10th Amendment, not conservatives. Far too many people seem to think if the Constitution doesn't specifically prohibit an action, then the federal government is good to go. That requires ignoring the 10th Amendment. Hell, have to ignore the entire Constitution since it spells out the powers granted to government
