With the efforts of domestic mobile phone brands Xiaomi, oppo and other manufacturers, more relevant new products will come out in the future, It is expected that the global shipment of mobile phones equipped with 3D face recognition sensors will exceed 100 million in 2018.

There are more and more mobile phones equipped with 3D sensors this year. In May, Xiaomi launched Xiaomi 8 exploration version, which not only provides screen fingerprint recognition technology, but also is equipped with face ID function. This so-called Android's first mobile phone integrating 3D face recognition technology will soon be on the market.

After the Xiaomi 8 exploration version, oppo also released a flagship mobile phone find x equipped with 3D sensors in June this year. The total shipment of Android lineup this year may be only 12 million at most. TOF 3D technology may not start to gain more momentum until 2019.
