Apple's First IPad Pro Will Feature a Mini LED Screen

On January 6, foreign media learned from the supply chain that the 2021 iPad Pro will become Apple's first product equipped with mini LED screen and will be launched in the first quarter of this year.

It is reported that the mini LED screen can bring better color restoration and contrast. At the same time, it has higher stability and lower power consumption than the OLED screen. Therefore, the display effect of the iPad Pro equipped with this screen is very expected. It is reported that the iPad Pro equipped with mini led was once expected to be launched by the end of 2020, but the relevant approval was delayed due to public health factors.

The large-scale shipment of mini led was also postponed from the end of 2020 to the second and third quarters of 2021 due to this factor. Nevertheless, it does not prevent Mini led from contributing to revenue in the first quarter of 2021.
