I've been in an LDR for 4.5 years now with few meet ups in between due to the distance. This year we are hoping to finally get his visa so we can be together.
We have fought very hard for this.We have always been able to video chat but lately both of us are working extremely hard and saving up in preparation for the visa and the move. Instant chat is usually better than email for talking.
It's also fun to find things to do together. We wrote a story together where one of us would finish a chapter then leave it for the next person to read and build off of. It was fun and gave us something to look forward to.
We also have movie nights and watch t.v. shows together at the same time, chatting during the show.
So far we have bonded over Westworld, the Magicians, Game of Thrones and American Gods among others. Talk often, do things you enjoy together and have a plan for closing the distance eventually

The signs were suddenly everywhere, the synchronity are countless, the vibration is getting stronger and stronger i barely could sleep the night before we met.

This happens to everyone, especially in the beginning. The only difference is that when you have more experience, you either know how to narrow down what to look for faster, or you just skip it and continue with what you can control.
Its very common to pass by things that trip you up initially and come back to them because somehow, your brain continues to solve the problem without you actually deliberately giving effort to the problem. Depending on what kind of challenges you are pursuing, try not to get bogged down by things you dont know and implement what/how you know how to. Its okay to not use .
map and .filter instead of just using a just for loop. Learn those tid bits gradually.
When I get stuck on certain bits that are frustrating me, I start with the basics and write out the problem Im trying to solve bit by bit. I use a a little pseudo code here and there and it helps me visualize what Im trying to do as a whole.Dont stress mate!

As a beginner what cool programs can I make with java?
The final project for my Java class (which I failed because I didn't do homework) was to create a business expense report calculator. Rather than stick with the basic prompt>entry>calculate>display done in the CLI, my partners and I wrote up a gui, spent a day coding and two weeks validating code and debugging to come up with probably the most ridiculously over the top program the instructor had ever seen. Because we could.
We all knew we were going to fail the class (we took the class to learn Java, not get a grade) so we took the simple program we were supposed to make and turned it into one giant tongue-in-cheek joke used to poke fun at the rest of our class. After that I wrote a program to generate 128bit passwords that I use to secure files on my external HDDs at home. In conjunction with 256bit encryption, it gives me a (potentially false) sense of security knowing that my music, videos, books, and documents are secured.
It makes me grin knowing that the encryption keys were generated using my own program.
