Mazda CX-9
The Mazda CX-9 is a mid-size crossover SUV manufactured since April 2006 by Mazda in Japan, at its Ujina #1 plant in Hiroshima Prefecture. Despite being built in Japan, the CX-9 is not sold in Japan's domestic market, as it exceeds a major threshold in the Japanese dimension regulations and the engine displacement obligates a large annual road tax bill. Instead, the smaller Mazda CX-8 is sold in the Japanese market.

Mazda M5OD transmission
The M5OD (Mazda 5-speed with Over Drive) is a line of manual transmissions produced by Mazda and used in Mazda and Ford cars and trucks. Two variants, light-duty R1 and medium duty R2, were made. R1 transmissions have been used in the Ford Ranger, Explorer, Aerostar, and Bronco II. R2 versions have been used in the F-150, Econoline Van, full size Bronco, and the Cougar/Thunderbird with the supercharged V6. The M5OD ended production in December 2011, being last used in the 2011 Ford Ranger. The M5OD is fully synchronized on all gears, including reverse. The synchronized reverse gear was one of the main features of the new units, to protect internal components from being damaged by inadvertent operation by the customer, and was protected by US Patent 4,757,726. The transmission has an integral bellhousing, making the power plant stiffness high enough to avoid harmful resonance. The transmission uses a hydraulic clutch setup and has an internal slave cylinder, which is a source of frustration for anyone having a slave cylinder failure, as it requires the entire transmission to be removed.

Sqeaking breaks on my Mazda?
if it has not been driven for a while, there might be some dust or rust on the brake rotor that needs to be worn off by simply driving it, or the brake pads are down to the wear indicators, that is the little metal tabs that tell you that your brake pads are worn down and that they need to be replaced

Is Mazda considered a premium brand?
Not yet but getting there. We have a 2018 CX5 GT and a 2017 Mazda 3 GT and both are equipped at a level that would rival almost any luxury brand. It is not just the technology. The fit and finish plus leather interior are impressive

Mazda Demio
The Mazda Demio is a supermini manufactured and marketed globally by Mazda since 1996, currently in its fourth generation. The Demio is marketed prominently as the Mazda2 and under previous nameplates including Mazda 121, Mazda Metro and Ford Festiva Mini Wagon. The third generation Demio earned the 2008 World Car of the Year title, while the fourth generation was awarded the 2014-2015 "Japanese Car of the Year". In Canada, Mexico and the United States, the Demio was sold by Toyota with slight styling changes as an iteration of the Toyota Yaris sedan. In the United States, it was initially marketed under Toyota's youth-oriented Scion brand as the Scion iA. For the 2017 model year, it was re-branded as the Toyota Yaris iA due to the discontinuation of the Scion marque. For the 2019 model year, the iA moniker was dropped. Presently, the "Mazda2" is available in Canada and Mexico, but not the United States except Puerto Rico. For the 2020 model year, the Demio-based Toyota Yaris hatchback is also available in the United States and Canada. Production of the Demio-based Yaris sedan and hatchback for the United States will end before July 2020. Originating with the introduction of the Mazda 121 in 1987, this B-segment small car was based on the Mazda D-platform. Ford also used a version of the first-generation DA 121 known as the Ford Festiva. It was redesigned for January 1993, still based on the same DB platform. Kia also built versions of the DA and DB, both for itself and for Ford's sale as the Ford Aspire in the United States which Kia sold as the Pride and Avella. The name "Demio" is derived from Latin meus to show possession, which in many Romance languages has become "mio." The "Demio" nameplate was discontinued in all remaining markets in September 2019, and replaced by the "Mazda2" moniker worldwide.
