7. My legs are so dry that they crack. What can I use tho prevent this or help this?
Since your skin is cracking I Recommend that you go to a pharmacy and purchase a jar of Eucerin. It can be pretty pricey but it helps. If you can not afford it then you can try cocoa butter from Palmers the lotion if you want but since your skin is that dry you should get the spread that comes in a jar but it will take a bit longer to work that Eucerin but your skin will feel better immediately. To get rid of the cracks you may have to apply it three times a day. The goal is to keep your skin moisturized. The best thing I would recommend if you have tried the above items are to avoid skin products with alcohol since that is what dries your skin. Purchase black soap which you can get at any beauty supply store. I live in NYC and there is this small company that makes soaps, their name is Nubian Heritage. Their soaps are made from all natural ingredients and you can usually buy it from street vendors in harlem or their store in harlem. Their soaps cleanse and keep the skin moisturized and free from blackheads and such. Go to a small beauty supply store and see if they have any. I recommend the Olive Butter Soap, Lavender and Wildflower, Mango soap, Coconut and Papaya and their african black soap. I have this flyer with their email address : and their phone number is 212-932-2414 and cell 646-320-3664. Call and email them for inquiry and they may tell you places that sell this stuff and google Nubian Heritage and one of their packages offer customer service at : , Or if you have a friend or relative in nyc have them go to Harlem Fragrance Inc 2355 8th Avenue (btwn 126 and 127th street), NY NY 10027 If you dont want to go through all that, I totally understand, Just look for natural soaps or natural cocoa butter or natural shea butter. Or you can get the ambi black soap from Johnson and Johnson but its not the same. What you should do right now though before you go to the pharmacy is put some petroleum jelly (vaseline) on your body. Do this three times a day for a week and then switch to the Eucerin or Palmers. I hope this helps also drink more water, your skin could be more dehydrated. let me know how it goes! P.S. Tea Tree oil is great! Just think natural!
