Because youre never 100% sure if you understood the algorithm if you dont do the actual implementation and see it works (best of all, if it works on some online judge).Otherwise there are always those situation now and then, that youre totally sure of course you understand every single detail of the algorithm, and yet when you start implementation you notice this tiny thing which you overlooked and you need to think again how it should be fixed as otherwise your whole solution will be simply incorrect due to this tiny detail, or will have worse complexity than it should.It doesnt mean you should forever implement everything you learn, but in the first stage of learning its surely beneficial, at the least doing this for some of the algorithms you learn.
And you dont have this chance if you dont know the basics of programming.Learning algorithms and programming at the same time is one of the good ways to go - this way you practice basics of programming AND algorithms during your implementation tasks, instead of devoting your time to practicing either of them on separate tasks. But learning algorithms without basics of programming is not a good path in my opinion.

e which type will likely have a bigger RIO to brands in their marketing/advertising campaigns. No doubt Niche social networks are more likely to offer a higher RIO because of a much higher targeted audience being advertised and reached out to.If I were a brand or an e-commerce site selling gift items for instance, would I want to advertise on a website like Birthday Mates which is a niche social network whose sole theme is Birthdays, and is a collection of people celebrating birthdays, which obviously implies, the buying of birthday gifts, parties, etc; or would I want to advertise on Facebook or Twitter?
The answer is obviously the former. The same reasoning applies to other niche social networks Vs broader social networks. And while Facebook, Twitter and co have targeting capabilities, it does not and cannot compare to a website with just one central theme.

Not all of francophone Canada is like that.
