Just be yourself and dont worry so much about what others think. I have worked in corporations and some of the hardest workers were the quietest because they were busy working while others were socializing and no one in the company thought badly of them. On the other hand, I was shy and quiet and had social anxiety for many years and one day I decided I didnt want to be that way, so I fought against it for many years and overcame it because I wanted to.

I donu2019t think this is odd. I had a crush on my older brother (9 years older) growing up and even in my young toddler years told people I was going to marry him. It only came from admiration and innocence.
