At what age did you become an atheist?
I, like every baby/child, was born without any believe about anything (be it religion, Santa, or anything else).
So technically speaking I was an atheist from day one of my time on this planet. But I am assuming, once I had been taught to believe, then at what point after that did I become an Atheist. In my case not so simple. So I grew up without religion until I was about 5. At that point my mother had some kind of revelation and decided to make me a Christian. So at 6 years old I was baptised and my religious education began.
I never really bought into it but it had messed up my mind a bit. I dropped Christianity when I was 9 because it made no sense to me.BUTI still thought everybody has to have a religion so I actively looked for one. At some point I settled on witchcraft (after reading my way through Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, etc). That one I kept and actually believed in for the vast majority of my life. I started to loose that faith at about 24 years old and dropped it completely at about 26.

Why should Rahul Gandhi become the Prime Minister of India?
Why would someone want Rahul Gandhi as a prime minister? The most logical and common sense answer should be that these people may genuinely like Rahul Gandhi and believe he as PM could do something good for them.People generally vote out of a sense of frustration as much as with a sense of hope. For instance, while the thumping victory of Indira Gandhi in 1971, and Rajiv Gandhi in 1984 were driven by hope, the victory of Janata Party in 1977, Indira Gandhi in 1980 and Sonia Gandhis UPA in 2004 were the results of the electorates frustration with the incumbent governments. Narendra Modis impressive win in 2014 was driven by an ironical amalgam of peoples frustration with the shenanigans of a corrupt UPA II government and a hope from Modis development rhetoric. Viewed from this historical perspective, some people may want Rahul Gandhi as PM out of sheer frustration with Modi governments perceived failures.Thirdly most voters are cynical about the entire political class, and vote for what they consider as lesser of two evils. For some people Rahul Gandhi may appear less evil than Narendra Modi.Indian voters are unpredictably rational sometimes ;)

Was Jimmy Carter a good President of the United States?
Excruciating.I voted for him after Gerald Ford bombed in the debates and was refreshed at his approach to the inauguration. It didn't take long for things to go poorly. While everybody mentions the Iranian debacle, about which Carter was more of an innocent though ineffective victim, I found my most convincing example in his confrontation with General John Singlaub.
Singlaub was the Chief of Staff of military forces on rather Korean Peninsula when President Carter announced to the Washington Post that he intended to reduce forces there. Singlaub, whom I met and discussed the issue with shortly afterwards, told me that when he protested, he was relieved of command and brought back to Washington. As he told the story, he was called into the Oval Office and personally attacked, particularly when he questioned the wisdom of making that move without consulting people who would have told him it would be a mistake. It ended with Singlaub's resignation.
As it turns out, the Carter decision to draw down troops on the Korean Peninsula would have been a fatal decision for South Korea and for American interests in the region. Carter was an example of an ideologically-driven politician

What movies depict a leading character with mental illness?
How about "What movies depict a leading character with mental illness accurately/well?" I know of a few.Clean, Shaven (1995 American indie crime drama) Peter Greene plays the main character, who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. This is the best depiction I've ever seen.
Melancholia (Lars von Trier's 2011 sort of sci-fi drama) Kirsten Dunst gives the most convincing portrayal I've ever seen of a depressed person.Welcome to Me (2014 comedy/drama) Kristen Wiig plays a woman with bordeline personality disorder. As someone who has BPD myself and has listened to and read many others' accounts of this disorder, it rang very true to me.
Most movies Hollywood things up and sacrifice the reality of the actual disorder for elements that make for a bigger box office. Or they just botch things completely, relying on stereotypes that play on people's fears. If you want to take a look at a fairly comprehensive list (up until some way through 2016) of movies about mental illness and psychiatric themes, I created one here . I stopped updating it a while ago, but it has quite a few suggestions

What band matched or came close to Led Zeppelin or The Beatles?
The Grateful Dead. And they matched them by being completely different in their approach to success. The Dead developed a groundbreaking bond with their fans and turned their backs on industry ideas regarding how a band should go about its business. The boys from the bay area never had a Sgt. Peppers or a Led Zep 4 (whatever you want to call that thing) that became a monstrously popular album. As far as singles go they had one hit that managed to reach 9 in the States. When it comes to record sales both The Beatles and Zeppelin leave The Dead in the dust.
Yet, The Dead were incredibly successful through their live shows. They mapped out an entirely new way to reach the top. And that map is still relevant whereas the old approach using studio recording is becoming a dead, excuse me, end. Industry executives have finally had their dreams come true. They can take all the profit from studio recordings and split it with music streaming outfits and leave the artists with pretty much nothing. The blueprint The Dead put forward is the way to go now.

What does Michael Cohen reaching a plea deal mean for Donald Trump?
Liberal media can not have it both ways. They protested the release of Cohen as Trumps lawyer gets out of jail-free card now they are protesting Cohen having his G.O.O.J. free card pulled. Does CNN & MSNBC have any standards of logic to running news stories?Ill give Michael Cohen credit for this-He was not dumb enough to claim Trump had any involvement with the whole Russian Hoax drama. This is why everyone ask if they knew Trump colluded with Russia always said NO. That is why Trumps X secretary of State Bolton refused to testify..he said Dems handled whole impeachment idiotically. They wanted people to say the KNEW..if you claimed to have known, that confession would send them to jail for life.
Simple put the Dems put whole investigation in a place that it could not ever be proven Trump did anything wrong cause they didnt want him convicted, it was all just a political exerciseBolton wanted Blood and Dems wanted political theater. I agree with Bolton about it being a waist of tax payers dollar and time:

Why is Jyotiraditya Scindia asked to quit Congress?
His support for abrogation of article 370 and then showing mirror to his state govt on loan waiver promise have actually irked the top management in Congress. There is some talent in Congress as well. Scindia and Pilot are actually good leaders and theyre young, energetic and hard working. But what Rahul/Sonia did after 2018 assembly wins in Rajasthan and MP was baffling.
Though if you think a little carefully, it was a well though-out decision to hand over the CM posts to loyal Gehlot and Kamalnath. And the reason is to keep away any threat to the crowned prince of Congress in future from any of these two; Schindia and Pilot.Congress was always a family business and no doubt it will remain so even in future.
No matter who you are, youve to just say yes and hail the top two Gandhis in Congress. Who can forget those 10yrs of remote controlled PM. A good leader wouldve no future in this party. And its better that Schindia and Pilot just leave Congress so that their life will get a purpose at least

Is Jimmy Page overrated as a guitarist?
Just listening to a bootleg LA 75 he was on that night. The bit about changing standards is spot on. Charlie Christian was once cutting edge Jazz, now most blues n rock guys use his licks and it is soulful but simple next to say Pat Martino However most guys who are perfect pretty much play the solo they have memorized or stay in their comfort zone, Zep was a jam band, remember the scene in the SRTS where JPJ and JB give each other a WTF look:They Took risks onstage. They often lacked a chordal instrument to provide support, makes the song less perfect to the listener and one can get lost during a solo. Unlike the Allmans Zep did not Tour and practice constantly a key to being able to pull off a improvised jam every time. Page was doing the work of several guys live. Take the much beloved peter Green he had 3 guitars in the band. Pages big reason to be rated highly is he was Harmonically more adventurous then anyone besides Beck Howe or McLaughlin. IN ALS he uses a Cmaj7 4 arpeggio. Sorry but sure as hell aint a common rock chord.
