If a batch of LED lamps are installed in a new factory, it is found that the LED lamps flash during commissioning, which seriously affects the lighting quality. The power quality analysis of the power grid on site shows that the content of 3rd / 5th / 11th harmonic is high, up to 3%. It is not determined that the high content of power grid harmonic is the direct cause of LED lighting instability.
LED manufacturers use pwr2000w high-performance programmable AC power supply to synthesize harmonics and simulate the harmonic AC of the new factory. The influence of harmonics on the lighting quality of LED lamps is verified by adjusting the 3rd / 5th / 11th harmonic content respectively through high-performance programmable AC power supply. The test shows that the content of 3rd / 5th / 11th harmonic is lower than 0.5%, and the illumination of LED lamps is normal, that is, the high harmonic leads to the instability of LED lamps. According to the voltage harmonic requirements of European standard en50160:2010 voltage characteristics of public power supply system (as shown in Figure 1), more strict grid harmonic immunity verification is carried out for LED lamps (as shown in Figure 2).
