Would an ER Visit Show Everything?

I am not sure how you KNOW that you are having GB pain. Or that you are having pain in your right ovary. Just sounds like you like to be a patient and be sick. That's why you are seeing and love to see the chiropractor. Sounds too like you just do not want to start your adult life and make all the decisions that entails. You can skip the counselor. Go to a psychiatrist and get some medicine that actually decreases your anxiety.

I would suggest taking her to her regular doctor tomorrow. Call and let them know you are very worried and would like to see the doctor immediately. Just from what you've said so far, it does not seem to be anything the ER would be that concerned with.

Science Diet is crap quality food. Period. You want to stay away from most brand names - Iams, Purina, Pedigree, anything in a grocery store or wal-mart - because they all contain corn (which is undigestible by carnivores - dogs - and a known allergen) and by-products (parts of animals that contain no nutrition.) You want something with NAMED meats and meat meals, veggies, quality LOW grains, and no fillers or anything mentioned above. California Natural and Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul are two decent, lower cost foods. But if you feed GOOD quality you tend to SAVE in the long run - less vet bills related to poor diet (skin issues, ear infections, etc.) Other brands: Wellness, Innova, Taste of the Wild.

4. What's the last thing you took your child to the ER for?

Goodness!! I dont blame you i would have been terrified myself! The last time we took Kaylee to the ER was 2 days after Easter. She woke up the night before Easter and was burning up, so i took her temp; it was 103. This wasnt the first time dealing with a high fever, so i gave her motrin and she went back to sleep. Then around 6am Easter morning she woke back up, still burning up. She ran fever all day that day, and all day Monday. By Tuesday morning she woke up and everytime i would touch her she would cry :( i was so scared, she acted as if she was in pain, and all she would do is lay on the floor with her head on a pillow, not moving. Which is VERY unlike Kaylee - shes VERY active. I called my husband crying, he came home from work & we decided to just go to the ER. Turns out she just had a very nasty virus. The doctor said she probably cried when i touched her due to just being so drained & being weak from not eating & such. A couple of days later she was back to the old Kaylee; thank goodness!!

5. Why was my ER bill $600? I have insurance?

Most likely, some know-it-all lady who has nothing to do but talk about everyone else at the hospital, made a mistake logging in your information. Call up your provider with card in hard, and tell them of your bill. They should clear it right up over the phone. If they do not , ask for a manager. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR INSURANCE MANUAL STATING RIGHTS AND PROCEDURES IN FRONT OF YOU FOR DEFENSIVE BACKUP. If you do not have that, be sure to print it out from their website online or have it on screen in front of you while you are on the phone. Read and go over it first before calling, so that you are prepared in case they give you the runaround.

6. what happened to carter on er last night?

My mom and I were talking about this too and its either chemotherapy or dialysis...the machine looked and sounded more like dialysis to us...but it could be chemo I suppose. Really sad....I get the feeling that he is either not with Kem anymore or something happened to her even though he told someone she is in Paris visiting her mother. It would be really sad if something happened to her.....I wonder...given Kem's work with HIV/AIDS.....if Carter could be sick that way somehow....what a way to end the show for good...last nights epi was the best IMO... For the other person who answered.....the show is over for good at the end of this season......yeah ya hate to see people killed off.....but when its the end...its the end. I do not WANT it to end...but since they are going to anyway....I would like to see ER go out in a blaze of glory....
