as of top now they do no longer look to be. and could no longer be for a on an identical time as. im thinking it may take revenues far off from their mini branch. i continually wanted to import a one hundred thirty from mexico even with the undeniable fact that. additionally they stopped making z3s and z8s a on an identical time as in the past. the 8 sequence hasnt been geared up in over a decade.
1.
Theres a lot of speculation right now, but the vast majority estimates the 128i will start in the mid-upper $20's and the 135i will start around $35,000. Expect a well equipped 135i to run up past or close to $40k, and several thousand more for the convertibles of each model. Official pricing will hopefully be released at the LA Auto Show later this month.
2. bmw 1 series coupe or bmw 3 series sedan?
i would say the 3 series sedan, because although the base price is low, around 33k, the 1 series can really add up. The base price for the 1-series is about 28k, with no upgrades and options. Any options may be an increase of a few grands. Most 1 series model are around 35k, and even when its certified pre owned, the cost is about the same of a 3 series sedan, the base price of it. Go with the 3 series sedan, because its a four door car. Your passengers will appreciate it more, because its less comfortable in a coupe, and a pain, getting in and out of the car! The insurance should also be lesser than a coupe! What ever you do, make a wise choice and research it more!
3. I would love to purchase the BMW 1 series but I want to know my options. What are the alternatives to this car
Great choice in car. Its worth the money and its a BMW. You wont worry about the gas when you have the car. Plus this level of a car you wont get this cheap
4. Whats are the good things about the BMW 1 series (2008)?
Looks, performance, fuel economy, durability, warranty, service intervals, and value
5. Are the new BMW 1 series worth buying?
Oh ya. the 1 series is one of the coolest cars out there. the proformance is great. the hp is awsome, engine sounds tight, and it has a very strong and prustgiuos look to it. great car PERIOD... Buy it. its worth it.
6. Some cars are considered "chick" cars (see sorority), doesn't the new BMW 1 Series fall into this category?
No car with over 300 HP falls squarely into the chick car category to me. And this one in particular moves BMW closer to their roots of lightweight sporty cars like the original 2002tii. Maybe in a convertible version...
7. BMW 1 Series 2006 Diesel E87- Slight whine after clutch replacement. Help needed?
I would agree, the symptoms and circumstances do point to the thrust bearing. Did you replace it? In that case you may have a dud one. If you did not , you should have!
8. Should i get a 2008 or a 2009 BMW 1 series?
You are correct. The 0.9% offer is available on the 2008 1 series but not on the 09 model. The cost of the base model of either model year is not significantly different (both around 30k); neither is the styling of the car. But once you start adding on packages and options it can quickly climb to 40k or more. So, it depends on what options you intend to get on the car. If you are going to buy the car moderately loaded you are looking at at least mid to high 30s. And do not forget that you have to add tax and tag to that amount. 9% is going to be a lot cheaper than financing a similarly priced 09 at 2.9% or more
9. BMW 1 Series 3.0L TURBO coming???
yes but It will come later on in the year
10. bmw 1 series coupe or bmw 3 series sedan?
Well in Canada the xi would be the more logical choice. Even though winter tire use is mandatory in most of Canada now the RWD car still will be nothing like as good in bad weather, and quite a handful at times for a novice driver. If you must go RWD for a young driver I would recommend the 323i - you wo not be so sad when you inevitably wrap it around a tree - which is a right of passage for all young drivers. You will bend the car at some point so I do not see any reason to get anything too nice
