Japanes vehicles are amaing of their very own precise, however the Euro base vehicles are those to conquer. Audi could be my first determination. they're triumphing virtually each race they enter, and their innovations in no way end!
Wait until eventually ultimately you notice the recent "Iron guy" action picture with the Audi Spider in it. Audi's suspensions and 4WD structures are unprecedented via all people. They defy maximum actual regulations.
They make vehicles with the utmost gasoline mileage (quicker diesel) around besides. The Audi will out survive virtually each thing else obtainable. in case you do not have self assurance this, only end via any Audi showroom.
attempt to not drool too lots. Then purchase a effective used one and pretend!

What do the class series of BMW 3 series mean?
Hi Alex, A lot of what ry has written is correct, however there are variations with the second two numbers (and only sometimes which adds to the confusion). For example, there are earlier models of BMW which differ such as say a 316 which is actually a 1900cc (but not every 316). Another example is 323 which isn't actually 2300cc.
I don't know them all off by heart, just be aware that some differ slightly from the badging. BMW seem to love doing these quirky little things. My advice if you want to be sure would be to check out data available in motor magazines for each model in question (something like What Car), and compare the engine displacement to the badged name.
Hope that helped a bit more, Good Luck Pyth.

Is a BMW a narrow car with little leg room?
Basically, the answer is no.
It's neither narrow nor lacks leg room. In comparison to a Mercedes S-Class. the answer is still no.
2007 BMW 750Li dimensions in inches (L is long wheelbase version) Legroom (Front) 41.3 Legroom (Row 2) 43.4 Shoulder Room (Front) 59.
3 Shoulder Room (Row 2) 58.9 2007 Mercedes S550 Legroom (Front) 41.9 Legroom (Row 2) 42.
3 Shoulder Room (Front) 59.1 Shoulder Room (Row 2) 58.7 They are essentially the same, except the BMW has 1.
1" more leg room in the back but 0.6" less up front. The BMW also edges out the Mercedes on (interior) width just slightly.
Size aside, you'll find the BMW "drives" much better. More precise steering, better handling, better brakes, and slightly better mileage. The Mercedes will give you a 7-spd AT (vs.
BMW's 6-spd) and a little more HP.

Is BMW going to bring the 1 series to the United States? If so when?
Current rumors are late-2008. They are definitely coming though and that is about as much as a carrot as BMW is throwing at us right now. If I had to guess, I would say about 6 months after the formal introduction and sale of the new M3 model.
BMW does not like to take the thunder away from its new models, but rather, pace them out so all can share the wealth of media glitz. Since the 1er will be a re-entry into the small car market for BMW, it is probably being done with the utmost care, even more so than is common at BMW. BMW can be sure of intense public and media scrutiny of their new (to U.
S./Canada) compact. It is currently available in Mexico.

BMW is overpriced all-around: purchase, maint & repair. And their reliability is only Fair for many models.

a bmw 328xi for 40350, good deal?
Even if something sounds like a good deal, always call a neighboring dealer to see if they can beat the price. But, if you are not willing to do that, I would go for it.
Most BMW Dealers don't sell too far away from Sticker Price and this seems like it may actually be worth it. Good Luck Note to Richard R.: I have to disagree about BMW's having poor resale values.
The Mini Cooper (Owned By BMW), BMW 1-Series, BMW 3-Series, BMW 5-Series, and BMW 6-Series rank in the top 10 for highest resale values of all cars. PS. Just another option- Take a look at the new Audi A4.
It is bigger, faster, safer, and returns a better MPG than the BMW 328. Also, it is just about equal in price. http://www.

I have BMW 328ix questions?
it relies upon. i in my opinion like Audi extra suited and between the a5 and a4 it comes all the way down to length and engine. the a4 has a three.
0 rapid and the a5 has a v8. the v8 is probable swifter yet any automobile with a rapid is rapid. the a5 is slightly greater to.
thats tremendously plenty what it comes all the way down to. if i've got been you i could get the a4 because of the fact its a astonishing quickly automobile and such as you stated above its nevertheless a Audi. additionally you are able to save some money basically in case you need to get issues fixed on the automobile.
have confidence me, any german made automobile you would be dishing out a lot of money if some thing needs to get fixed.

Is it really a big deal to buy a bmw 3 series to your daughter if you are wealthy?
Going off you spelling and/or grammar from your statement, maybe you should join your daughter in college and you two can carpool!
As to the BMW, skip it. You pay a lot for so little with those cars because they are the lowest wrung of that manufacturer's ladder and barely warrant the hood ornament bestowed upon it. Do yourself a favor, have her try out either a Ford Fusion or a Mazda 6.
Plenty of pep, looks, gadgets, bells 'n whistles at a reasonably affordable price. Despite the fact that I sound like a complete jerk, it seems like you simply have more money than sensibility, so I doubt you will take any of my advice anyway. That's my two red cents on the subject.

should I get a 2008 BMW 5 series?
I think the 5's are such a waste. when it comes to BMW it is all about the power.
Why get a 528 when the same engine comes in a 330? it is doubtful that you are hauling people around and for all that extra weight you really don't get more of luxury? The 3's are still the best value in the BMW series.
If you want more Luxury get a Benz. You don't get more luxury in a 5 than in a 3 and BMW charges far to much for every component that comes standard in most other cars. There is a lot of hype on the M3 2008 also, but I think I would rather have a M3 2006 cause the V6 is just far more efficient.
I don't know much about Audi

Im after a 2002-04 bmw 3 series, audi a4 or mercedes c class which would you recommend?
i tend to like audis partially coz it's neither a mercedes nor bmw which you see everywhere. at least here in cali.
audi's tend to be less common, and i think they're just as luxurious. and i think they offer a good balance of what bmw and mercedes offer. not quite the level of sportiness as bmw but more than mercedes.
not quite the pampering of mercedes, but more than bmw. my own opinion. and i just think they're better looking cars.
nothing extreme like some bmw's, and nothing overly simplistic like some mercedes (although mercedes is getting more edgier in their designs). i've had an A4 before and now an S4. i may be biased but have driven the bmw and mercedes competition.
both have good things to offer but i recommend the audi.

Why do people say BMW are expensive? ?
well, they're expensive new, and 25k for 5 year old car is pretty expensive in my book, when i can buy a BRAND NEW car with many of the same features for that price. When you buy a BMW, it comes with a few years of free maintenace. The people who buy used, do you know how much oil changes are?
250 dollars. if you buy a higher end one, like the 7 series, the tires are 5x more expensive than the regular tires on any other car (they use pierelli sport tires). NEVER in my life would i want to pay 250 dollars for an oil change, or pay 25k on a new car, AND pay for premium gas.
To me, its just not worth it. BTW: look up the price on BMW parts, and the labor costs, and tell me how you feel

all 2010 modles bmw 3 or 1 series mecedes c350, g37 coupe, lexus is250 which one should i get im 16 guy?
BMW 3 series - # 1 car on Car on Drivers Magazine top ten cars 18 years in a row.
No other car beats BMW's handling and precision It may not have the largest engine but the satisfaction of driving it plus the status will definitely make you popular. I do like the G37 and my friend has one, it's a great car, very fast and will be very reliable in the years to come. I wouldn't go for the BMW 1 series, it's not much cheaper than the 3 series but you're getting a better car in a 3.
I don't care for Lexus at all even though it's considered to be a very dependable car. Mercedes 350 has a great styling but the interior materials and the drive didn't impress me. It also costs more than the 3 series.
Good luck and drive safe

Why should I prefer a BMW Series 1 to a Series 3?
The two cars will come with the same engines 128 and 328, and 135 and 335. However, the 1series will be a little bit faster compared to the three series because of their weight difference.
The 1series will also be a bit smaller. With the 1 series, BMW is targeting the more sport type of people that want more of a sports car while the 3series is sport/luxury. If you are interested in modding, BMW has come out with a number of performance parts for the 1series already and the 3series parts are lagging behind.
If you buy BMW Performance parts over aftermarket parts your factory warranty remains intact. The 1series is also around $5,000 cheaper, if you are okay with a smaller car then i suggest you get the 1series. Its cheaper, a little bit faster, and there are already parts out that keep your warranty intact.

Anyone out there that has bought a 2006 or 2007 BMW 3 series that has Run Flat Tires?
My cousin does alignments on BMW's, Audi's and Porsche's - every time I see him, he's replacing a RFT. People want the prestige and safety of a BMW but do not want to shell out ridiculous amounts of money on replacing up to 4 tires every 25K miles.
The other poster's idea of tire insurance is pretty good - that probably comes with the BMW warranty. So many components like ABS, traction control, et al depend on having the RFT's at every wheel. Also, people don't like being stranded and a RFT allows someone to drive home or to a repair shop at a low rate of speed.
Frankly, if one doesn't want RFT's, find a BMW package that doesn't have them at all.
