Both the ranks are equivalents. Usually, a Colonel is the commander of a Battallion or Unit which might have upto 500 people. Of course, there are colonels who hold staff appointments in the HQ of a Brigade, Division, Corps, Command or Army HQ. Such guys may have just ten people directly under him.
Similar thing goes for a Captain of the Indian Navy. When he is in command of a ship or a station, depending on the size, he could have many people under him. When he holds a staff appointment, he might have just ten.

Why is India not part of the International Space Station in spite of major ISRO successes in recent years? Like China, does India plan to have its own space station in the space?Essentially despite the large number of flags that show the nations involved there are essentially 5 agencies participating. These are NASA, Roscosmos , ESA, JAXA, and CSA, with each nation contributing a significant element to the project. India did not have sufficient budget or expertise when the project began over 20 years ago.
India has caught up fast however so may be a partner in the future however, either with NASA, China or another agency. Currently it does not have a booster that could lift a station to orbit. But no doubt that will come because the cost of space launches is very reasonable.

Why does Vietnam have a much higher IQ than India, although they have similar GDP per capita?IQ is a score derived from one of the several standardized tests designed to test human intelligence,while GDP is one of the primary indicators used to assess the health of national economy.IQ differs from one individual to another,so it depends on the individual,GDP depends on the masses.
Also just because certain group of people having IQ scores does not mean that the value of goods produced by them should be higher.GDP can decrease due to external factors like war,recession but IQ is not affected by that.

Do you write less on Quora nowadays?When Im tired I tend to write short answers. There are many times where Im not well and I tend to leave Quora completely for days or weeks. Right now, even after going out Im not getting any better. So generally Im writing less these days. I think the significance of Melissandre (aka the Red Woman or Red Priestess) being shown as old when she removes her choker is that George RR Martin wants us to know she is not what she seems to be. She has referred to illusions in the past, and she is clearly one herself. I dont believe her to be all evil or all good. Hopefully, season 8 gives us at least a glimpse of who she really is. And if she happens to go out in a flame if glory, even better!

What if someone from the future traveled back in time and caused this chaos in 2020?Are you looking for an excuse?The human species doesn't need any help from the future, or from anywhere else, to get itself into it's current state - it is quite capable of doing so on its own.If you want to look at it from a positive point of view, you are actually experiencing evolution in action because the young who are susceptible will die-off before reproducing and those that are resistant will provide the future population.It is just unfortunate that there are so many 'unintended consequences'/collateral damage in the older population. They dont care much about politics.The Qing dynasty lasted 300 years, founded by ManJu nomads who is first class. If smoking was banned, what would happen to frequent smokers?A fair percentage of smokers would quit, maybe not right away but as their supply runs out and cigarettes become harder to get. Hard core smokers would continue to smoke as there would be an extensive black market that law enforcement couldnt possibly control because it already has its hands full with narcotics and other controlled substances, illegal alcohol distilleries, and so forth. The overall effect would be to strengthen organized crime and induce poor people to spend too much of their money on cigarettes. Although it would slightly reduce health care costs, banning smoking would not be a good idea

Accordingly, I will presume that you mean in a realistic (accessible) and physical manner.The highlighted area is the solar plexus, which covers the diaphragm. If youve ever had the wind knocked out of you, it was probably related to that spot. I call that the biggest because in a fighting stance, your elbows are are tucked and your knuckles are at your cheeks.What this means is that, with enough speed, you could land a hard palm-up punch to the solar plexus.
