ThisEveryone did this.So youre playing some classic Mario or Tetris and the game starts bugging out. Naturally it must be the dust clogging the cartridge, so you take it out, give it a blow, and put it back in.
Boom! Fixed.Right?
Well it turns out that this did jack shit to actually fixing your game. If anything, it just blew more dust into the cartridge, as well as moisture from your mouth. This was just another placebo effect that spread through the videogame community.
Just give it a blow.Thankfully the small design fault of the cartridge (being that all the essential gears and metal rods were exposed) led to further improvements to products in the videogame industry, creating more compact and robust games. So maybe this myth wasn't all bad.

Which gate is this AND, OR, NOR?
It has to be AND - no current can flow unless both switches are closed. It's representing a 2 input AND gate where both inputs have to be logic 1 (high).
SW A AND SW B need to be closed for current to flow. OR would mean current flows if either SW A OR SW B are closed OR if they're both closed.NOR is the inverse of an OR gate which is the same as a NAND gate - in logic.
NAND would give the inverse of AND which is shown in the drawing. XOR isn't even a valid option, but an exclusive OR gate is more like a true OR gate in that you get a logic high from A OR B but not both.Any logic circuit can be represented using only NAND gates

How do you trust your partner after he cheated?
Lol.The main question I wanna ask you here isWhat would you do if you find out he has cheated again? Divorce him or Keep him ?
Would you ask the same question again?Once a cheater , always a cheater. It gets habitual.
Or and confronting after first time confrontation . will be similar to giving license ti do the same unwillingly. Forgiving the act of cheating is okay the habit of cheating is the real threat .
He is gonna yield to it. Sooner or later. If you still wanna try the impossible & trust him.
And live with him. Cheaters, however smart, cannot fully cover up. You may miss the signs but they cannot completely hide the signs.
Lot of YouTube vodeos on same exists. Even Google with provide with a bunch of thjngs about psychology difference you can see when a spouse cheats

Do you know anyone who didn't vaccinate their kid(s) and came to regret it?
I only know of one parent who's made this choice, and he feels strongly that many vaccines are unnecessary and potentially harmful, citing the introduction of heavy metals into the bloodstream of his children and the powerful influence pharmaceutical companies have in making their vaccinations mandatory for public school attendance.
I am concerned and feel like I lack knowledge in this subject, but I am a concerned parent of a nine-month old boy. Anecdotally, I've noticed his worst illnesses were those that came immediately after he received his shots at 3 and 6 months but have noticed no long term ill effects. I'll conclude that this is a subject that can not be settled without consulting multiple sources--experts in the field of medicine and other related fields and weighing the potential for bias with each source of information

Why couldn't Dronacharya defeat Arjuna?
Dronacharya never intended to defeat or kill the Arjuna. There are many reason for that :He always loved Pandavas and Arjuna was the dearest to him and he believed in Arjuna more than his own son.
He already blessed the Arjuna for victory even after He was going to fight against him. Duryodhana already knew the Dronacharya will not kill/harm the Pandavas so he convinced the Dronacharya to make a plan to caught Yudhishthara and make a prisoner so that war can be ended peacefully but Drona was agreed on that plan with the condition that Duryodhana will not kill Pandavas. In order to catch the Yudhishthara he had to fight with Arjuna but he never intended to defeat the Arjuna.
He always try to stop him or try to avoid fighting with Arjuna as he was dearest to him and he never wanted to see Arjuna to loose.

What are some examples of very smart people making very poor decisions?
Common sense might not be their forte.
Ill give you an example. While back in college, this girl wanted to store some of her things with a friend at Georgia Tech. We grabbed my minivan, put a couple boxes in it, and took a trip.
Once there, the basement was dark where we were going to store her things. Are there no lights downstairs? I asked.
Its out. They said.Do you have one to replace it?
No. they said.Since it was the late 1980s we werent carrying around smartphones.
All at once I felt like Obi Wan Kenobi using the Jedi Mind trick, only it was Common senseSo unscrew one of these up here and change out the one downstairs. Okay. They did so, my lingering thought as I left was.
They can probably create a light bulb using household items, but can they actually install one themselves?

What is something you are grateful for that most people take for granted or donu2019t seem to notice at all?
Time.
I love to savor time. I love to sit in a space such as where I am now - resting at a picnic table in mid-walk along a nature trail. Im sitting here appreciating that I can do this.
Im listening to the birds, traffic in the distance, kids playing a stones throw away, feeling the breeze, looking at green grass and trees on a sunny dayand its enough. Everything in this moment in time is enoughmyself included.I have crafted my life so I can savor time now and it helps me hold space in the world the way I want to hold it - simply, thoughtfully, gently, and with a mind quieted down enough to be able to listen and observe.
Manufacturing more busy for the world to swallow in one insatiable gulp can wait a while. Time to finish my long solitary walk now.

Why do scientists turn to evolution to explain scientific phenomena, and yet it cannot be proven using the scientific method?
A minor quibble: science doesn't provide "proof" of things, but it shows that things are supported by an overwhelming body of data, are useful for making predictions, and provides amazing explanations for the observations we make. Evolution does all of that. Finally: note there are two uses of the word evolution: one names the theory that describes changes in living things over time, the other is used to name the changes we observed: thus the "theory of evolution" versus the "fact of evolution".
I should say those are the two correct uses of the word evolution: there is a third, false use, demonstrated by people who say "evolution is just a theory" or "evolution is not supported by science". Those uses are false attempts to discredit it, made by people who aren't capable doing any of the hard work required to understand it to the point where valid questions can be asked.

Why do people treat a beautiful woman/girl better?
Unequivocally Yes.Here are all the places I have personally witnessed this happening - school, college, internship, first job, second job, third job, fourth job, in movies, in tv-shows, in novels, in history, on the street, in living rooms, in hospitals, at a beach, in a club/pub, outside a club/pub, in an uber - you get the point by now.It doesnt just end here.
Quite often, they know why they are getting treated the way they are in a certain scenario or situation. In fact, they use it to their advantage as well so many times, and theres absolutely nothing wrong with it. Attractiveness is an asset, which if not put to the best of its use, starts depreciating.
Attractive girls thus must know how to use this asset to their and the humanitys advantage

How do I become as intelligent as Richard Feynman?
There was one famous quote i heard To be like 5% of people on earth, u gotta be willing to do what 95% arent willing to doWhy do u wanna be as intelligent as feymann? Cause u think he is more cool than u?
or becoming like him will make u more happier? NO!His personality is result of his environment and his judgement towards it.
When seen from outside perspective, his intelligence seems god like but when u reach that intelligence it wont be cool anymore. And u will be disappointed cause u wont be seeing your fantasy events then. U might be already be more intelligent than richard, but in different field cause intelligence is subjective term.
so dont seek to be as intelligent as feymann cause u are already more intelligent than him

What caliber of tragedy would have to take place for gun advocates to change their mind about gun control?
This question assumes that a paperwork exercise with felony provisions will deter a violent criminal act that is also a felony. Historically, gun control has no bearing at all on real crime rates.
I see you, Australia, and no, you cannot credit the absence of another Port Arthur massacre to your massive gun confiscation. Same for the UK. Both countries have seen a rise in overall crime rates this year, along with crimes committed with guns.
As soon as someone puts the word gun in front of a social ill, they are cherry-picking data. Bad intent comes from humans. Crime is not a problem of tools, it is a moral, societal, and yes, spiritual problem that can never be resolved through externalities.
Even if a gun law deprived a bad actor of access to a gun (it won't, c.f. Paris, and other attacks), there are other tools such as pressure cookers.
It's the people at the root of the problem, not the tools.

What have been President Obama's biggest foreign policy mistakes?
Pulling out of Iraq.
Now before anybody says that was Bush and the ISFA I am aware of that but the fact is Obama could have fought that decision and should have fought it and an experienced president would have went on TV and told the American people we must keep more troops in Iraq until we are sure terrorists do not take it over. That decision destabilized that entire region and cost many soldiers their lives and allowed ISIS and Al Qaieda to grow and Syria and Egypt to erupt.I also think he played nice with Saudi when he should have demanded they clean house or face consequences and fight with the US against terrorists.
Obama was young and inexperienced when he stepped into the middle of two raging wars and an economy in collapse and millions of Americans losing homes and jobs and he did a pretty good job but an experienced president would have handled the ME differently
