What makes you the most sad?
Well, what makes me the mostest saddest is when people just don't care.
When you talk and they don't listen, you cry for them and they make you cry more, when you say they sparkle and yet you just glisten. When you hurt so much the pain is gone. That's when I get the saddest.
When I forget how to let the tears fall. And yet the only thing holding them back is that nothing. One rock removed and the entire river overruns the dam.

if you want sad music, try "Gloomy Sunday" by Billy Holiday. It was written by some guy for his ex girlfriend. when the record got made, he asked his ex girlfriend to get back together.
A week later the girlfriend killed herself. there were many reports that people were killing themselves because of the song that some countries even banned it from being played over the radio. A song that helps people stay alive.
well, is the song "Staying Alive" by the Bee Gees. the beats in the song is similar to a person's heart beat that if you play it, the person's brain automatically tells the heart to beat the same way, thus staying alive. Call my bluff.

I often ask myself the same question, but my doctor reassures me that I have depression, and I'm not seeking sadness.
Maybe it would be helpful for you to talk to a counsellor or doctor and see if they can help you get to the bottom of it. Because if it's affecting your life, it's worth getting some help. Wanting to feel sad isn't really the norm, so maybe you are making some thinking errors that a counsellor or psych could help you figure out.

you had an attachment you were unaware of when you let it go. you may have not realized you were so attatched to it.
